Material Testing Lab
Material Testing Laboratory CTTI (FWO) formerly known as Geo tech lab FWO (Chaklala) was established during the construction of Karakorum Highway (KKH). After completion of KKH, the lab was shifted to Chaklala, Rawalpindi. This Lab is one of the oldest Material Testing Labs in Pakistan. Material Testing Laboratory is functioning with professional skill and commitment and offers testing services of different construction materials like Soil, Aggregate, and Cement, Concrete, Bricks/Blocks, Bitumen, Asphalt and steel. Student Final Year Projects

All–Terrain Vehicle (ATV)
The vehicle is locally designed for operating in all Terrain of Pakistan like, deserts, mountains and plain areas. To understand all technical systems like engine, transmission, suspension, steering and braking. To devise an economical solution for disabled persons being the projectors’ initial cost is as low as low Rs.55000/- only.

V-Type Engine (Cutaway Model)
This cutaway model will be used as a training aid to clear the concepts of students about the V-type Engine to clear the difference between a V-type engine and other common piston engines. This engine is used in Toyota Land cruiser.

Boxer Engine (Cutaway Model)
A cutaway working model of flat Air-cooled engine 1300 F used in Volkswagen beetle (Foxy) Car. This cutaway will be used as a training aid to clear the concepts of upcoming students about flat and Air-cooled (Boxer) engines and to study the difference between Boxer and other conventional arrangements.

Cutaway Model of Fuel Pump
This cutaway model will be used as a training aid to clear the concepts of students / about the working of the inline fuel pump to clear the working of pumping element and governor of the incline fuel pump. This is used in the Komatsu diesel engine.

2km One Way Road Construction
This project deals with the analysis and design of roads and preparation of requisite drawings. It also deals with the analysis of Gen, Aim, types of RDS, SVY and alignment, cross SEC, EXEC plan and preparation of DWGS. This project helps the viewer to understand the structural and architectural drawing of a building.

Frame Structure RCC Building Design
This project deals with the design and analysis of a double-story RCC frame structure building. It also deals with the analysis of roof slabs (one-way/two-way slabs), singly reinforcement, doubly reinforcement T and universal T beams, long, med and short columns and lintels. This project helps the viewer to understand the structural and architectural drawing of a building.
