Material Testing Laboratory CTTI (FWO) formerly known as Geo tech lab FWO (Chaklala) was established during the construction of Karakorum Highway (KKH). After completion of KKH, the lab was shifted to Chaklala, Rawalpindi. This Lab is one of the oldest Material Testing Labs in Pakistan. In the year 2006 Lab was shifted to Construction Technology Training Institute (CTTI) Islamabad in order to maximize its utilization. The lab is playing a dynamic, successful and multi-dimensional role in areas of practical training, capacity building and commercial testing. The lab is fully engaged in imparting practical training to the students of DAE (Civil) Technology and six-month duration short course students. Material Testing Laboratory is functioning with professional skill and commitment and offers testing services of different construction materials like Soil, Aggregate, and Cement, Concrete, Bricks/Blocks, Bitumen, Asphalt and steel. We assure the accuracy, reliability and credibility of our results.
